Frequently asked questions

What counts as a "file open"?
One file open is one DXF or DWG file loaded into the viewer — by drag and drop, the file picker or a link opened through the browser extension. Zooming, panning, toggling layers, measuring and exporting inside an already open drawing do not count. In the United States, the free plan includes 5 file opens; a Pro plan unlocks unlimited opens.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, at any time. Click Restore purchases / Manage subscription in the viewer footer to open the customer portal and cancel there. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
What is your refund policy?
Your first purchase of DXF Viewer Pro is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If Pro is not for you, email support@dxfviewer.app within 30 days of the purchase with the email address you used at checkout, and we will refund you in full. Details are in the Refund Policy.
Are my drawings uploaded anywhere?
No. DXF Viewer parses and renders your files locally in your browser, on both the free and Pro plans. Drawings are never uploaded to our servers and nothing about their contents is stored by us. The only data we hold for Pro customers is what is needed to run the subscription: your email, country and subscription status. See the Privacy Policy.
Does Pro work with the browser extension?
Yes. The DXF Viewer browser extension opens .dxf links in the same viewer, so your Pro subscription applies there too. Sign in with the same email you used at checkout, and use Restore purchases if the viewer does not recognise your plan on a new device.
Will I get an invoice or receipt?
Yes. A receipt is emailed to you after every payment by our merchant of record (the payment platform operator), our merchant of record. You can also find your payment history and download invoices from the customer portal via Restore purchases / Manage subscription. If you need an invoice with specific company details, email support@dxfviewer.app.
